Sustainability
Sustainability is key to our company. We believe in a world where everything we do doesn’t take away from the natural environment but positively contributes to the world in which we live.
Naturally, the industry in which we operate is a high carbon emitting industry which contributes in a major way to energy which is used and all greenhouse gas emissions worldwide. It is understood that the engineering and construction industries result in emitting carbon and other greenhouse gasses through electricity use, fuel usage, production of materials and through usage for the life of the product. As a responsible engineering consultancy, we are conscious of our own sustainability and the sustainability of our projects in their entire lifecycle, from planning of the project, to extracting processing and transporting the raw materials, to production of the construction elements and the project itself, to the daily use of the product for the entire lifecycle of it, to the demolition process. We actively measure our own sustainability practices and positive difference as well as encouraging sustainability in our entire project life cycle and supply chain.
ATCN+Koryon is committed to the United Nations Sustainability Goals and to being completely Carbon Net O across all projects by 2045.

As a business we are committed to the United Nations sustainable development goals, these form the backbone of our sustainability and corporate responsibility commitments.
We are committed to Carbon Net O across all our projects by 2045 and frequently review our progress to this goal. We hold ourselves accountable to this goal and hold our clients and supply chain accountable to the same goal, we are actively changing the way we work to make these goals a reality.
Diversity and Inclusion
ATCN+Koryon are committed to making real change in an industry that lacks diversity and gender balance. However, we believe Inclusion and Diversity goes deeper than the topics currently discussed in the industry such as gender balance or recruiting more staff from diverse (ethnic) backgrounds.
We believe diversity includes diverse backgrounds, diverse education and training, diverse family histories, diverse thinking, as well as diverse ethnic backgrounds and genders.
We are committed to inclusion and diversity at all levels of the business in all aspects of this diversity and our annual reviews include measuring the success of the company against these targets.

Part of our commitment to support our employees is our culture of making the healthier choice for our own physical and mental wellbeing, our team take part in healthy socialising such as partaking in respectful martial arts classes together and swimming at the beach.
