The capacity of the Tuz Gölü Underground Natural Gas Storage Facility in Aksaray (Mid-Anatolia) is being increased within the scope of the Phase-2 of the Project. It is aimed that the total storage volume will reach 5.4 billion cubic meters by increasing the current capacity by 4 times.
In project scope; Design of above-ground process systems needed for drilling underground storage wells, creation of underground and above-ground piping projects and 3D models, hydraulic analysis and pipe stress analysis, creation of process control systems and detail projects, preparation of system electrical infrastructure detail projects, purchase Necessary list, specification and information sheets are created, hazardous area classification and HAZOP studies are carried out.

Project Details
This project includes the Jetty design for the "Floating LNG Storage and ReGasification Units (FSRU)", which carries out the transportation of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) with LNG carrier vessels, storage and regasification with floating systems, and also the construction of connection systems to the jetty and the construction of liquid natural gas. It includes the connection of the gas to the existing BOTAŞ natural gas system through the metering station by transforming it into gas phase.
Within the scope of the project, construction of the FSRU (Floating Storage and Regasification Unit) jetty to be performed in Saros Bay, piping design, obtaining electrical permits from official institutions, design of the entire electrical system, automation and control system design, as well as fire systems and fire water intake structure in accordance with NFPA standards. Many documents have been prepared, including the design of the metering station in complience with international sensitivity levels, safety and HAZOP risk assessment studies.

Project Details
The project was carried out at the combined cycle heat and power plant site with a nominal capacity of 450 MW electrical output and 200 Gcal/hour heat output.
Within the scope of the project, 10 tanks belonging to different services were designed and detailed engineering calculations and designs were designed.
Detailing is designed to store substances such as demineralized water, fire water, condensate water, clean oil, dirty oil (prismatic tanks), city water
In addition, a thickener and a sedimentation tank were designed and detailed projects were prepared.
This international project site was in Uzbekistan, consultant engineer was in India. So; Project updated in line with comments and revision requests from Uzbekistan, India and Turkey, the project was successfully managed and completed on time.

This is where ATCN+Koryon were able to provide our expert knowledge and experience to deliver the full Civils Ground Works Pack successfully and efficiently and successfully, including Highway Design, Full Levels and Foul and Surface water Drainage Design, S106 Agreement, Cut and Fill Assessment, Carriageway Design and External Works and Surfaces.
